Message From the TC Chair

Dear Friends, in this first message as the chair of the MVL-TC,
I would like to thank you for those who elected me.
I am very honored to serve you and I will do my best for the community.
At the same time, I thank the past chair, Dr. Reiner Haehnle, for his outstanding work.

One of the goals to achieve during my term is to improve the visibility of the community
of multiple-valued logic.
I think that ISMVL is the best platform for this.
As the first work as the TC chair, I obtained an important domain name: www.ismvl.org.
All the information of ISMVL can be linked from www.ismlv.org.
If you have any suggestions to make ISMVL more visible to new audiences,
please let me know.

Soon, we will have ISMVL-2002.
Prof. Simovici coordinated high quality symposium.
We invite every MVL researcher to come to Boston to attend ISMVL-2002.
The program and symposium chairs put together a quite interesting program.

The program is strengthen by four invited talks that cover the full aspects
of multiple-valued logic: Sergiu Rudeanu, D. Mundici, Bob Brayton and Naofumi Takagi)

The Symposium chair Prof. Simovici has set up the web site, that is linked from
http://www.ismvl.org/.

There, you will find the technical program, related events,
registration forms, hotel information, Boston area attractions, etc.
If you plan to attend ISMVL-2002, be sure to reserve the air ticket.
Also, reserve the hotel rooms as soon as possible, since the Boston will
be crowded in May.

Prof. Mukaidono also organized an interesting workshop ULSI-2002,
which will be held on May 15.
Advance program is also available from the same web site.

I am looking forward to see you in Boston in May.
